Make a square basket of wood and straw, using the same technique used in the Fair Isle Strawback Chairs. Approx. basket size: 250×250×170mm. All materials provided. Suitable for ages 13 years and over. Under 16s to be accompanied by an adult.
Basket will have a wooden base - some simple woodworking will be required.
Cost: £80
This is an 8 week course held on Saturday afternoons at the Islesburgh Community Centre in Lerwick. Week 1 commences on 25th October at 1.30pm. The final workshop will be held on the 13th December.
NB Booking price on website is for place holding only - a cash payment of £80 is to made on Week 1 to your tutor.
