I have developed this contemporary take on the Fair Isle Strawback Chair by refining the centuries old forms into the simplest of lines. Named after the dialect word for a small basket, the Cubi Chair is not just a striking modern design suitable for any home, it also has great potential as a useful training piece for future straw workers.
