A bit about my project and practice in the Shetland Wool Adventures Journal Vol 1

I was honoured to be asked to include a piece about my project and craft practice in this inaugural publication by Misa Hay.

With the tourism industry thrown into chaos thanks to COVID19, self-employed tour guides like Misa of Shetland Wool Adventures, needed to drastically rethink their strategy for 2020. Misa used the opportunity to realise a dream and publish the first volume of her Shetland Wool Adventures Journal.

“The Journal is a celebration of all things Shetland but in particular of wool, knitting, creativity, crafts, heritage, outdoors & food. The inspiration behind the Journal comes from my passion for the place and from my tours which are a combination of all of the things above.”

This really is a beautiful gem of a book and has lots of great articles, recipes, knitting patterns, guides to Shetland walks - the lot. Its an absolute bargain at £20 and can be purchased from the Shetland Wool Adventures online shop.
