After two years of surveys and workshop time I am absolutely delighted to be able to have the completed Fair Isle Chairs Project on show at the Shetland Museum.

Typical scrolled arm detail. There are nine examples of historic Fair Isle chairs on show - several of which are usually kept in storage. The exhibition is a brilliant chance to get up close to these historic pieces and enjoy the hand crafted details.
